The high-power LED unit is a dual-function Hi-Lo Beam that produces 8,000 lumens of light power at a 6,000 Kelvin color temperature. It is rated for 22,000 operating hours at 25 watts and only has a 2-amp draw. The 1249 series is rectangular and designed for use in vehicles such as the Cherokee. The prismatic glass lens does not oxidize, become hazy, or accumulate film like plastic lenses. The addition of lead enhances the strength of the glass. The prismatic lens provides superior photometric light distribution. The bulb assembly is protected by a high-density silicone rubber boot with venting to guard against dirt and moisture.
